Transitioning into a lifestyle rooted in Islamic ethics does not happen overnight. It is a daily, beautiful journey of self-improvement. Here are some practical steps you can take starting today:

• Pause Before You Speak: When you feel frustrated or angry, take a moment to remember the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to either speak good words or remain silent. Good speech is considered a form of charity in Islam.
• Practice Patience (Sabr): Life will test you—sometimes with small inconveniences, sometimes with big trials. Remind yourself that reacting with calm dignity brings the love and reward of Allah.
• Spread the Greeting of Peace: Make it a habit to say ‘Assalamu Alaikum’ (Peace be upon you) to Muslims you meet, and greet everyone else with a warm smile and a friendly hello. It softens hearts instantly.
